Can you work with Locked footage on an external hard drive?
Ok, does anyone know if this is possible: I have a client that is very protective of footage. Because of this I can only work specific projects on his computer, however, he has to use it too, which has stifled our workflow. He wants to buy a new computer, but I’m wondering if he could put the project’s video files on a locked external hard-drive in which he’d have a password too. Would it be able to edit video projects in adobe with locked footage on hard drive? He’d have to enter his password, then I can work on project on my own computer.
