  Stuttered Video and Pitch Drop in Audio

  So recently when I open PP CC and I start to playback my project I notice that the video and audio stutters. You can even see the playhead stutter and there is a significant pitch drop in the audio. When I research it people were saying to clean out the media cache and restart. This works but it’s a pretty unacceptable solution considering I never had this problem before upgrading to CC. Any help would be appreciated.

  Thanks Cris. Nobody is really talking about some of these issues. I heard great things about CC and the Mercury engine but it’s got some real hiccups. Oddly, I never had this stuttered video and pitched audio playback problem with 5.5 on a 2009 MBP. Crazy!
