  insert edit premier pro

  Does anyone know why only the playhead moves forward in the timeline when pressing insert from the source monitor? It moves forward the set still frame duration, just no clip. I am inserting stills between some video clips and I can only drag the stills into the timeline.

  When your source is loaded into the source viewer…

  how are your tracks patched in the sequence?

  Sounds like you you have the record side patched with the source side disconnected to me…
