  Merging Clips is Adding Tracks!

  I have no idea why, but after “synchronizing” I go to “merge clips” and when I pull the merged clip into the timeline, there 16 audio tracks connected to it!

  I can’t find anything on this issue, and don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

  I’m working with 1 audio track, and 4 video tracks. Audio track 1 is correct, and then 4 tracks of nothing, track 2 is correct, and then 4 tracks of nothing. rinse and repeat…It’s so strange. I’ve never come across this problem.
