I’ve just jumped into the Adobe editing world after stubbornly sticking with FCP7 these past couple of years (yes, I’m old skool).

I just graded my first 20 min test project in SG, output as dpx (following the adobe tutorial), and for some reason Premiere will just import the first 6 mins (when I select single clip upon import). I even tried a 2 min dpx output test from SG and again, PP just imported the first clip of the 2 min sequence. I check the designated output folder and all the dpx files are there that would equal the length of my exported sequence. And yet, Premiere just imports a fragment of what it should. Any suggestions?

    Many thanks

How are you importing? Via media browser or file import?

Hmm, never seen this problem. Does after effects import the right length? If it does you could import into there and import the ae comp into premiere. Also the new release this month has direct link to/from speedgrade so that could help.

Aye, same thing happens in AE. It’s bizarre, no two ways about it.

There must be a corrupt or missing frame in the sequence. Try a re render.
