I have an interesting challenge for you premiere pro aficionados: I’d like to recreate the “Man behind the Curtain” effect in the iconic classic, Wizard of Oz.

I work for a non-profit company, and we’re creating a Wizard of Oz fundraising campaign that will conclude with a video of that scene, with our CEO doubling as the man behind the curtain.

So basically, I’d like to swap out the man behind the curtain’s face with a different one.

I’m pretty novice in Premiere Pro, so I could use some direction to achieve this effect. Of course, I’m not expecting to recreate it perfectly! I think I can manage capturing just his head and using a green screen with the original studio’s background, but I wonder if there is a way to create the flickering, bloated head (without using makeup, preferably).

    Thanks!
