  How to get rid of left channel keep right channel audio?

  New to PP CC from FCP 7 – my audio has two channels per video clip – but PP puts it on 1 stereo track, but I only want to use shotgun mic which is the right track, not the left…how to eliminate the left channel lav mic?

  On a different topic, I just noticed this icon under source monitor called Automate to sequence – what’s that?

  There are a couple of ways to do what you want but the easiest is to select the clip in your timeline, go to audio effects and select “Fill Right”. You can apply this to multiple selected clips as well.

  Thanks very munch that does work – so what is that doing? Just “filling” the left channel with the right?

  Yes… and obviously, “Fill Left” does just the opposite.
