XML wrong sequence
Posted by Stephen Smith on September 5, 2013 at 8:41 pmI have multiple sequences in Premiere. I want to export one of them out as an XML file for DaVinci. No matter what I do it will only export out one sequence and not the one I want. How do I choose which sequence I want to export?

September 5, 2013 at 9:07 pmIf your in Premiere Pro CC you have 2 options.
1. From the Project panel, select the sequence you want to export> File> Export> Final Cut Pro XML
2. Select the sequence tab in the Timeline panel you want to export (make sure its highlighted), File> Export> Final Cut Pro XMLThat should do it.

September 5, 2013 at 9:15 pmUnfortunately I’m not on CC but I want to be. This sucks for me until I get it. I’m still waiting for Adobe’s answer to my “Why Should I Pay More question”: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/378/3547#3741 Hope it comes soon.

September 5, 2013 at 9:29 pmIn CS6 you cannot export a individual sequence. You export the entire project with all of its asserts. You can import your sequence into a new project and do it that way.
I’m not a sales person so I will not comment on why you need to upgrade, however I think CC is pretty cool 😉

December 13, 2013 at 1:54 amI have the exact same problem as the OP. I’m running Premiere CC 7.2. I’ve tried both options listed here, but it always exports one sequence, and it’s not the right sequence.
The sequence it exports is actually used as a nest at one point in the sequence I’m trying to export.Elliott C. Balsley

January 20, 2014 at 8:15 pmSame here. I’m on CC 7.2, and it only exports the xml for one sequence, which is nested in the sequence I’m attempting to export.
