Plugin or easy way to create a 10×10 “video wall” effect with a hundred tiny copies of a clip?
Hi! I’m doing a video for a client and there’s one moment where I wanted to duplicate a clip to create a 10×10 “video wall” grid with a hundred tiny copies of the same clip all playing at once. Is there a plugin or simple way to do this? I could always manually set the scale to 10% and create a hundred of them, but that would take forever. I also use AE if there’s a way to do it there instead. Thank you!

There is a built in video effect which does exactly this. I only know the german name, but in english it should be named “replicate” or something like this.

Layers2Grid looks really cool. For my current needs, the “replicate” effect that Nils mentioned is perfect, but I think I might get Layers2Grid 🙂
