Placing a mask in Premiere from After Effects
Hei,
In the video the actor is blinking his eyes every now and then. I want his eyes to stay open during the whole scene. He´s lying still staring into the camera, the only movement is in the madrass. This is a one take, so there´s no option to cut to another picture. I created a mask with his open eyes in After Effects, and imported that one back to Premiere Pro. It´s close to perfect, but I can´t seem to get the the mask 100% in place in Premiere Pro, so his eyes gets a slight jump. A lot of fun, but not what my goal is…
Is there a way that I can tell the mask exactly where to be? Now I´m just zooming in, trying endlessly to get it into place.I´m using Cs6. My work flow has been:
Premiere Pro: right click the clip -> “replace with after effects composition” ->
After Effects: Created a mask of his eyes + pressed: “add” ->
Premiere Pro: placed the open eyes clip over his blinking eyes clipHope someone has an answer to this one.
Best wishes
