Here are some rough instructions on Standard Setup vs. Voice Over setup. We only recommend that users use ASIO or Core Audio for Voice Over ONLY! Users should switch into the Standard setup for any work being done other than voice over. This will ensure that the input and output are synched.
Audio Setup Instructions for Mac
For Standard Edit/Capture Setup:
1) Set Premiere Pro>Preferences>Playback>Audio Device>AJA Device
2) Set Edit>Preferences>Audio Hardware>Adobe Desktop Audio>Anything other than AJA Device
3) Set Apple>System Preferences>Audio>Input>Anything other than AJA Device
4) Set Apple>System Preferences>Audio>Output>Anything other than AJA Device
For Voice Over Setup
1) Set Premiere Pro>Preferences>Playback>Audio Device>Adobe Desktop Audio
2) Set Edit>Preferences>Audio Hardware>Adobe Desktop Audio>System Default Audio Device
3) Set Apple>System Preferences>Audio>Input>AJA Device
4) Set Apple>System Preferences>Audio>Output>AJA Device
