RGB 3-way colour corrector for PPro UPDATE: Found it!
Recent convert from FCP.
I love love love the RGB curves in PPro. If I had an RGB 3-way colour corrector I could do 90% of my colour correction in Premiere. Sadly, the 3-way CC filter in PPro is YUV. I don’t know if this is just personal preference but I get much better results with RGB than with YUV.
I’ve used Colorista 2 before which is excellent but I’d rather not pay for all that functionality when all I want is 3-way CC controls. They make a simple, free version but it doesn’t work with CS6 (at least CS6 is not listed as supported on the website).
Does anyone know of an alternative?
BTW. If you are a heavy user of the 3-way CC filter in Premiere and you’ve never used an RGB equivalent I really recommend giving it a try. Apple Color has RGB level controls, I’m not sure about Speedgrade (and don’t want to jump in just yet). If you’re on CS5 you can get Colorista free.
