  Strobe Video Effect

  I am using CS6 on an 8 core MacPro with a Quadra 4000 graphics card. The particular section of a project I am working on requires me to use the Strobe Video Effect repeatedly. Here’s what happens.

  I drag the plug-in to my highlighted scene and set my parameters. All is great. I move to the next scene and do the same thing. All is great. I move on to my third scene (and plenty more to come) and repeat the process. The Strobe effect not only does not work but it does not show up when I play that part of the sequence. I fiddle around with various changes of settings and even introduce toggle animation settings just to see if I can make the image strobe. Either nothing or craziness happens. Bottom line: I am unable to make any other scene strobe. Major bummer. Major hassle.

  Any thoughts out there? I sure could use some help. Thanks.
