AJA IO XT on an iMac
We’ve been connection an AJA IO XT to an iMac, and have set the System setting/Audio, AJA’s Control panel and Premiere Pro’s Preference panel to use the IO XT box, and it all works fine with audio in/out.
The problem is, that suddenly the iMac use the internal loudspeakers instead, and when checking the settings, nothing has changed, they are all still set to use the IO XT as when it all works.
We’ve tried to delete Premiere Pro’s pref file, but that didn’t help,
Anyone with suggestions ?

Set your Mac System Prefs > Audio to anything BUT the AJA. I have mine set to Internal speakers.

Well, but I want to audio to go through the AJA IOXT, so if I change the Mac Preferences to other devices (like the internal loudspeakers), it won’t work (just tried to be sure 😉 )

Yes, but when you’re using Adobe Premiere Pro, you must change that to anything BUT the AJA IoXT for the audio to work correctly inside PPro.
