    Hello

I just moved from fcp 7 premiere pro cs6 with creative cloud. I love it so far, however my main reason for the move to pr pro was its ability to handle different formats on the timeline without having to transcode.

I did a test yesterday with sony ex3,go pro,and canon dslr footage.

After dropping in the first clip to the timeline, the rest of the clips like go pro shots. I needed to click “scale to frame size” to be able to view them properly on the record side.

This doesn’t seem right to me? Do i need to do this every time “for ever”?

I also exported some of the footage and I’m just not confident I’m getting the most out of my footage. Sony ex3 footage seems to be a bit jumpy and the go pro shots where all interlaced.

I very eager to get into all the cool stuff but i don’t want to go any further until I’m confident about import and export.

My question is. What does everybody else do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Philip
