  Twixtor on Premiere Pro choppy?

  Hi

  I currently have a i7 laptor with 8gig ram and when I run twixtor on premiere it so choppy that its impossible to work with. The only way I can view the video (with twixtor applied) is after I render the video. Am I missing a setting or something?? I though my i7 machine is would be able to handle it…guess not! Should I be getting more ram or cpu upgrade??

  Most definitely, without a yellow bar it’s not a real time effect. Rendering for viewing in real time is probably necessary.

  Twixtor is not a realtime effect so you’ll need to render it for playback.
