In Prem Pro 6: Why is my Source Monitor showing the full image (as shot) while my Program Monitor is showing a smaller view (this is not a Zoom issue). There must be a setting I have setup incorrectly. I need/want them identical. Thnx in advance.

Source and timeline are a different raster size?

Right click on clip in timeline and select ‘scale to frame size’ have any effect?

is that the same as “Scale To Frame Size”? That seemed to correct the issue. But everytime I add a clip to the timeline I must repeat that command. Shouldn’t the default make the 2 identical unless I decide to make a change? That is why I thought perhaps I have somehow/where set a default inadvertently incorrectly. No?

This is set in Preferences | General ‘Default scale to frame size’

Or you should have your sequence settings to match your source (i.e. when you first edit a clip into a new sequence it offers to match the settings).

Depends on what you need to deliver and how much mixing of frame sizes you need to do….
