  test for hard drive

  hi all
  i wanted to know if there is a way to test the performance of my hard drive speed,in relation with premier,i have a feeling it is the weak link in my system

  There are disk speed applications available depending on your OS. Custom tools are available for Blackmagic or AJA users, also.

  Ivan is correct. If you’re using more generic tools I would lean more towards benchmarking sequential read and write. Video and audio files are much larger in comparison to, say, many small random photos/documents.
