I have just cut together a multicam sequence and was hoping to use SpeedGrade to grade it but I have run into a few problems. The first attempt was to send the project to speed grade but this would have resulted in an extreme amount of DPX files (this is a long form project – 1hour 40 minutes).

So I tried exporting an EDL which resulted in list of all the cuts but that referred to a clip that doesn’t exist (i.e. the nested multi camera sequence)., so I can get all the edits in, but no media.

Is there a way to do this ?

Or is there a way I can use my multi cam sequence (with all the cuts) to apply to my original multicam source (i.e. cut up the original clips as per the cuts I have made following the mulicam source selection process) or a way to batch export all the cuts as new clip media ?

I would also like to hear about this. Any ideas from anyone?
