    I can’t seem to find a way of getting the media codec listed for clips in the browser. I did add a column for “Video Compressor” from the Dynamic Media metadata display dialog, but nothing comes up in it.

    If my memory doesn´t fail, Premiere doesn´t give you the hole info of encoding type of a clip. I use Mediainfo, a free media info tool that will help. There´s another one called GSpot, but i like more Mediainfo.

    This seems like a small, but obvious omission in the feature list.

    I´d be good if Adobe included any file info module with all the pertinent data of format, encoding, etc.., this will be very helpfull.
    Until that we´ll be using Mediainfo for this purpose.
