Black Magic Deck Link card and CS6
Hello,
Is anyone out there using a BMD Deck Link card with Premiere CS6?
How is it working out?I need a basic HD-SDI output for color correction to replace my Kona LHe that AJA has dropped support for.
The BMD card also interests me for working with Resolve, I’m not expecting to support Speedgrade at this point.

Having an odd issue with black levels, but only
on SD analog output. -

I’m considering the basic Decklink SDI model.I’m just doing HD-SDI output.

I don’t have a Tri-Level sync.
Do you know if the Deck Link can generate sync without an external reference?This is how I output a signal from my AJA card to the Sony PVM monitor with the Ross SDI to Component converter card. Just with Genlock in FreeRun in the AJA control panel. I assume the control panel on the Deck Link has this function?

off the top of my head im pretty sure you can generate internal sync off the BMD

agreed, no need for an external generator for monitoring.
I monitor 24 frame often. The card just switches the monitor
to the 48hz mode. -
For those of you having success running PP CS6 with BlackMagic Decklink, would you mind listing the configuration you are using successfully?
Version of OS, Decklink Software version, specific BMD card, etc.
We have had many playback issues with our configuration causing us to drop PP CS6 use for now.
