I shot interviews in front of a white background, and I want to a change the background to a photograph. It was easy to do it with the interviews that were shot in front of a green background. I just used ultra key and changed the background to the photograph that I wanted. Is there a way to do this with a white background as well?

Use the Luma Key effect, or you can use Ultra Key and just select your white.

Luma keys are notoriously messy. You may have better results using After Effects and the rotobrush to create a clean cutout (good edge definition should make this rather easy) rather than using a keyer.
