  Premiere Pro problem!

  Please help!

  For some reason my H.264 .mov footage flickers between being normal, and having long segments of pale, washed out video with massive black blotches and sharp squares. There is an example below.

  The video is fine before import, with no issues. I have no clue what it could be. It wouldn’t be a problem if it was only in Premier’s video viewer, but the problems are exported onto the footage if I save my ‘movie’ out.

  Please give me a hand!

  Where is this video coming from? It looks like a game capture; I can begin to assume the capture codec/software is of dubious quality.

  Care to elaborate on the source of these originating files?

  Hey, dude – thank you for the reply.

  Yes, the source is video capture software, I’m attempting to record a ‘Let’s Play’. The software I’m using is Debut Video Capture software. It normally outputs to .avi, but these files don’t work with Premiere Pro, so I’ve been exporting as .mov at H.264 instead.
