  Can’t edit anymore! Audio keeps cutting out when scrubbing

  Hey Guys,

  Project detail:
  I’m using Premiere Pro CS6 working off a 1tb hardrive as a scratch disc. I’m about 4 minutes into editing a tour video for a DJ, there are up to 8 audio channels now and 8 video channels, mainly because I tend to scatter everything and it’s easier to see what is what.But also because there are lots of chopped up crowd noises, quick cuts..etc. I have 6.5gb of ram dedicated to it and 1.5gb left for other applications. The audio never excels like -3db either so it’s not that it’s clipping either.

  Problem:
  When previewing the edit inside premiere the audio cuts out sometimes after a few seconds, sometimes straight away. I’ve rendered the audio, I’ve fully rendered out all preview files i’ve tried wav vs mp3…etc and it makes no difference. It only started doing it now and I had no problems when I was say 3 minutes into the edit. I’m editing to the music so it’s really important for me to fix this 🙁
