For starters, when I tried to open the project, it said the scratch disks are write protected or unavailable. To open the project I would need to set the scratch disks to somewhere on my hard drive. I went ahead and continued and have tried to convert the project into my version of Premiere. It is taking quite a bit of time to do so. I am not sure if this will even work.

    Thanks for any insight.

Premiere will up-convert any project files from previous versions. It’s usually never a problem to go from cs4 -> cs5 and so on, but nearly impossible to go backwards from, say cs6 -> cs5.
