  URGENT, how do I get my hdv footage into after effects?!?!

  I have allot of hdv footage which I need to get into ae. I’m capturing it through avid xpress pro hd and can’t seem to find a setting to get it into ae. I export QuickTime animations and I get white frames randomly throughout the video durning ram preview and render. If I export DNxHD ae crashes during ram preview and render. Any input is greatly appreciated!

  What is the codec of the QT files?
