When I first used Premiere CS6, it was not able to see the audio track of mts files, so I converted them to mov files. Premiere was not very compatible with these files either (i.e. green thumbnails, etc.). Now, I noticed that Premiere is able to import the original mts files. Is there anyway to bulk replace all the mov files with their original mts files?

First you need to make all the clips .mov “offline” in the proyect pannel, select all, right click and select unlink. Then you have to reconect them to the new mts media files, right click again and link them to the new files. If they are in the same folder you only have to re-link the first one, premiere will recognize the others, as long as the file names were the same.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, while trying to link the footage to the original files, I get an alert saying: “The selected file cannot be linked because it has 2 audio channel(s) and the clip was created with 6 audio channel(s). Any ideas?
