Having trouble with some MC5.0 AAF exports loading into Premiere CS6 fine and other projects crashing Premiere. Same problem with Premiere CS5.5. I guess this could be MXF codec related. Does anyone else have experience of this?

I can see that Adobe just released an improved plugin for 6.0.1 but only for the MAC so can’t try on my PC system.

I can’t post on the Adobe forums as there seems to be a problem with the registration process constantly asking for a “Set Screen Name” and I can’t get pas that point. Chicken and egg as I can’t post in the Adobe forum about the problem without being able to set a screen name 🙂

    Cheers

The AMA feature has broken some of our AAF functionality for a while. We recently posted an improved AAF importer. Hopefully, this might help you.

    Hi Dennis

Thanks for your reply. As I mentioned in my post I saw the MAC importer but as I am on W7 I am after a windows version. Any idea if and when that might be available?

    Cheers

Apologies. Hopefully, we’ll have the same for the PC soon.
