Hi everyone- I’ve just completed a major project (for me anyways) but the last glitch I can’t seem to fix is this odd audio issue I’m having in Premiere. The clips I got were 8 channel XDCAM files, in which only two of the audio channels are being used. I have three clips that I’m working from, and on two of them I was successfully able to change the audio setting in Premiere to “stereo as mono”. Now, in my screen shot where I cut to a piece of audio from Clip 5, is where I’m having a problem. I wasn’t able to change the setting on this clip to “stereo as mono”, and I’m getting audio playback from this one clip that isn’t “normal”. It’s stereo, but the playback almost sounds like it’s “bouncing back and forth” between left and right, almost as if the two channels weren’t aligned. I don’t know how this happened, but I’d rather it was just mono anyway! Can anyone help me out with a quick fix please?

    Thank you!

Can you remove the clip from the sequence?
In the Project Panel, Right/Cntrl click on the media, and there, you can modify it’s properties like mono/stereo.
