  Please im have trouble uploading sound from my Z1 to premiere pro in HDV

  Hi ya

  Sorry just to join and come straight on here and ask for help but I am at my wits end.

  I have been shooting my sony Z1 in HDV mode and I have the adobe premiere pro CS3. Whenever I try to open a new new project and load it in 1080i 25fps the video quaility is amazing but sadly there is no sound. It will let me upload it to the Matrox 1080i 25fps and there is sound on that but sadly the quaility is no where near as good.

  I have tried everything i know to find the sound which is clearly there as it comes through in lesser modes of operation.

  If anybody could please steer me in the right direction i would be eternally gratful

  It is customary to share what the fix was, possibly helping the next guy with a similar issue, but also just to satisfy the curiosity of folks who read the post and want to know the answer – maybe they can use that knowledge to help someone else someday
