  combine 25p and 50i footage to dvd output

  Hi everyone,

  I have 2 lots of footage which I need to combine and edit in Premiere Pro Cs5 using a mac book pro.

  25p and 50i AVCHD 1290×1080

  I need to then export this footage to dvd.

  Can anyone give me some advice about possible problems with this?

  I am not very knowledgeable at all about the need for deinterlacing, export settings or correct format for dvd!

  I haven’t found any good tutorials online so any help would be very welcome. Thanks very much!

  Wanted to bump this up, please can anyone help?

  I want to combine 25p and 50i avchd footage and then burn to dvd to play on this: toshiba 19dv 500b 19 inch wide screen hd ready lcd tv and dvd player

  i need advice on how best to combine interlaced and progressive footage and correct export settings to use to play on that machine.
