syncronize live video with cd music (PPRO cs5.5)
Hi everybody!
I recorded a video of a guy playing drums outdoor. Since our power generator broke 5mins before shooting the video, we caould not have the music from cd to make him play in sync with the cd, so he played in a tempo that’s not exactly the one of the cd.. sometimes faster, sometimes slower. I tought “ok, no problem, I’ll take the video frames in wich he plays the crash (tchhhhhhh..), I’ll keyframe them, then I’ll put some keyframes in the audio track from the cd, and I’ll align the keyframes, so it will look enough in sync!”. That was my expectation.. but the REALITY is different 🙁
I toughtit was a simple thing to do, but in the internet it seems nobody talks about it.. I only found a video that explains how to do it with Twixtor, but ii would take ages to render and my computer would crash before.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KS0iKiP_i7AIn some forums I read about a “match frame” but I don’t know how to do it. I follow the instructions and what happens on my screen is different than what the instructions say. In many forum I read “press M” and nothing more, and in other forum I found people who suggest to not doing it, that nobody will notice if the video is out of sync.. -.-
my question is: can I put keyframes 1,2,3,4,5 in the video track, keyframes 1,2,3,4,5 in the audio track, and tell premiere “strecht the time to make them match”?
Please, since I’m not english can you use complete and easy words without abbreviations and achronims? thank you!!
