  Premiere Pro CS5.5 playback not functioning.

  I recently started a project in adobe premiere pro cs5.5.
  I’ve been working on it for about a week with Dslr footage but all of a sudden when I came back to continue with it, I am unable to playback any footage in the timeline.
  I can do video scrubbing okay and see the footage thats there but just can’t play it.

  I am on windows 7 on a compaq pc.

  Can anyone suggest what the problem might be and how to fix it?
