I have a serious problem. Every day I use Premiere Cs5.0 for video editing and my workstation is optimized for this kind of work. No games, no additional software, only Win7 x64, Quicktime and Premiere Pro with AME and Encore, updates turnd off, no firewall, no useless services.
And here we go… I had rendered one queue in AME and then tried to start another one. Nothing. Export from Premiere to AME doesn’t start AME at all. When switching from Premieree to Encore with dynamic link… Encore stops working and hangs its task.
When importing sequence form Premiere Pro directly to AME I receive error “Cannot connect dynamiclink”

I tried everything I had found in the internet.
Reinstalling Adobe Software, Quicktime, switching from CS5 to CS5.5, deleting prefs and restoring defaults… still nothing.
Has anyone met this kind of problem and solved it ?

Yeah, I encountered the same problem recently also. Adobe Dynamic Link just quit working. The error message reads something along the lines of “Using Adobe Dynamic Link with Adobe After Effects Requires Adobe Production Premium.” I have the creative suite, so this shouldn’t even be a problem. I’ve also re-installed the entire creative suite two times, but to no avail. The error persists.

Check if You have any adaware from Envato installed in background.
After I had bought some AEX compositions I opened an email from Envato and it installed adaware (or something like that) and some unknown tasks which were causing the problems with DL.

    Also check:

nvidia drivers (if installed) , several releases (not the last one)
    antivirus and firewall options
    quicktime components
and try to kill all tasks You dont know (one by one)
