  Capturing from a JVC GY200e to cs5 HDV

  I have control of the tape,but no video, Blackmagic capture via firewire.

  If you want to capture native HDV via 1394, then use an Adobe HDV sequence and do that. After capture, you ought to be able to then edit those clips in a BlackMagic sequence so that you can get the output preview.
