I am running Premiere Pro CS5.5 on a MAC. This has to be something I am simply overlooking however when a bring any clip into the preview window, no audio even when scrubbing. Drop it on the time line…audio. I trashed my preferences but no good. Did I accidentally click something like “send me wads of cash and turn off audio” and just did not read the end of the check box?

We’ve seen the same issue, mostly with HDV content. It doesn’t help you, I know, but we haven’t seen it with any other content.

What source footage are you working with?

HDV…go figure. I was capturing with a KONA LHi but it has issues with multicam, and I have a matrox mini but it has issues with audio using PP CS5. Where is my commodore 64 when I need it. Thanks

Are your audio preferences correct in Premiere? I once somehow switched the audio out to my HDMI-out and wondered why I didn’t have audio.
