  Use Previews Stopped Working

  Hello all,

  Having a very strange, irritating problem.

  I’ve been using Premiere for a while, and have always rendered on the timeline, then used the previews at output to get quick previews to the client (then rendered without later for full-res).

  However, recently my projects aren’t using the previews, or if they are it’s stopped working as it should, and renders are taking the full length of time for final exporting; around an hour for a 3 min clip.

  Has anyone else come across this?

  Have you tried to purge the previews and re-render and try it again?

  it sounds like something might be screwy with the previews themselves…

  Hmm no I’ll give that a go… it’s occurring on multiple projects, and I’ve tried both PPro 5.04 and 5.5.2

  Very frustrating!
