  Clips mess up when I cut them

  Hi, first post so go easy on me…

  I’m using EZ Video Converter to rip for VHS to edit in Premiere CS4. An imported mpeg clip previews fine, but when I use the razor tool to cut it in half the very end of the first part jumps and the second part’s audio is out of sync! I tried converting to AVI first and the problem persisted, but the converting software seemed a bit rubbish. Should I try another, any suggestions?

  This sounds very odd indeed.

  Try to clean the cache from the preferences. Then restart premiere pro. If the problem persists you might need to reinstall.

  Do this happen to all clips or just the VHS captured one’s?
