  Audio won’t transfer to timeline…why?

  Why wont the audio transfer from the source window to the timeline with the video? Does it have something to do with the type of video file I’m working with? The video is 640X480 30.fps /44100 Hz compressed…I sure would appreciate anyones help…Thanks!

  Are you certain the audio tracks are active?

  you may have mono audio settings for the clips but the only tracks you have on the seq are stereo. what do the little icons show? 1 mono speaker or two stereo speakers?

  Try dragging down to sequence then deleting the empty tracks and continue to edit with the shortcuts and the source.
