    Hello everyone,

I have a problem which hasn’t stopped me from working but I would like to understand how to fix it… When I open any project in Premiere Pro CS5, I have this ennoying little yellow triangle on the bottom right of the screen. If I click on it, it says “Display: Monitor configuration changed”. So far I’ve clicked on clear all button and it disapears but reapears when I open another project. So, here is the configuration of my workstation:

    – Wimdows7x64
    – 2 Xeon X5680
    – 48 GB of RAM
    Nvidia Quadro FX 5800
    – 4x RAID 0 arrays
    – 2 screens: 1 Samsung SyncMaster B2430 (1980×1080) and 1 Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW (1680×1050)

Knowing this, would anybody have an idea of how to solve my problem please?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

    Best regards,

    Charles

I’ve had this since CS4. Doesn’t appear to be malicious, so I’ve learned to ignore it.

That’s not an “error”, per se. You can ignore it. Premiere Pro is just telling you (though somewhat cryptically) that it has adapted to the display settings of your system.

Thank you very much Todd but now it is also doing it on After Effects when I’m using OpenGL Interractive. As soon as I scroll through te timeline, the screen goes black and comes back again… what could it be?

    Thanks again.

That means that there’s a problem with some aspect of your graphics card setup. The OpenGL renderer is failing to render your scene, but the normal CPU renderer is doing fine with it.

Such a problem can have any of a number of causes. See this:
