At my work, I use Final Cut Pro for all editing purposes. FCP has a nifty “Render Manager” feature that allows you to delete all obsolete renders in order to free up precious disk space.

Since I use PP CS5 at home, I am wondering if there is an equivalent process/Render Manager system in the program? Or would I have do delete obsolete renders manually?

Research has shown that I can delete old preview files directly in the timeline, but I am not sure if this is running along the same track as FCP’s Render Manager.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

The Sequence menu gives you the option to “Delete Render Files”

    CaMareo–

The short answer to your question is no–no way to target unused/obsolete render files specifically. Definitely worth a feature request to the Premiere software team–
