I am trying to import footage from the new Sony FS100U camera which shoots in AVCHD coded. I use the Sony CMU software to import the footage in but when I try and then import it in to PPro CS5.5 I have no audio on the file. From the research that i have done it looks like the footage was shot using the LPCM audio setting which I quess PPro does not like. I am looking for a work around for recompressing the footage or a setting in PPro that will work with this audio. Does anyone have any suggestions. I have also tried multiple softwares to recompress like adobe encoder, MPEG streamclip, VLC and Quicktime pro. I am using a windows 7 PC. Any help would be great. Thanks.
