  can i use 25fps footage in a 50fps project

  Hi guys, I shoot with a 7D at 1080 X 1920 (25fps PAL)
  I now would like to edit at 720p because the its just for web, and I dont want to work in full HD.
  There is no setting I can see for 720p 25fps.
  so can I work in a 50fps project and scale down my footage? then render out in 25fps?
  is that ok? or should I bite the bullet and edit in Full HD and scale down.
  I link almost every shot to AE for effects etc. and the computer starts struggling after awhile.
  so would like to stay clear of full HD.

  Hi Ryan,

  You can create a 25P sequence by going to the general tab (next to presets) and picking 25P as the frame rate. And yes, you can edit in 720P as well.
