  Switching from Vegas… 3D stereoscopy questions

  Hello,
  I’m considering the switch from Sony Vegas to Premiere, in particular for the better 3rd parties support and plug ins availability (for color correction for example).
  We work a lot on 3d projects and Vegas has some very good (but still buggy as hell!!) features.
  In particular we work with a mirror rig, so is very important for us to have the possibility to color correct left and right eyes indipendently.
  In Vegas once you set up that a project is 3D you can apply any effect only on one eye, or both and this is very useful.
  I’m playing a little with demo of PPro 5.5 and as I’ve understood it can use cineform codec (with firstlight corrections), but it has not specific 3D features to manage separate left and right channels.

  Any suggestion??

  You might want to look into After Effects and its stereoscopic 3D features, too.
