  Digital Cinema Desktop Black

  On a new Quad G5, 23″ Cinema Display, in AE I was in preferences, video preview, and I chose Digital Cinema Desktop as my output device to see what would happen. The screen went black. When I click on the desktop on my second monitor the finder comes up, but if I click on anything in AE, the screen goes black. I have restarted, tried all kinds of key combos etc. Nothing will bring AE up. I also have a Kona 3 with a NTSC monitor. I cannot even move the AE pallets to another monitor. Any ideas.
