    Hey pplz,

Im finishing my first ever project on premiere after working for years on vegas!

My footage ranges (sadly) from 1440×1080 mts files, 1280×720 MOV files and a few SD JVC Mod files (changes to .mpg) all in 25 fps.

I have chosen mpg2 blu-ray as the format, (1440×1080) but i have seen some pplz change from VBR 1pass to 2pass… and also play around with the rates.

Also, shoul di turn frame blending on/off?

And finally should audio by PCM or dolby digital, i usually use dolby codecs for DVD audio on vegas, but im just learning premiere..

    Any help woul dbe great.

Currently it says a 17min video is set at about 3GB. I would have expected larger but thats fine!

    Edit:
I just checked and somone suggest use H.264 so iill use that not mpg 2, but the above questions still apply 🙂

    edit 2:
I will be using Encore to author

Its better to downscale than to upscale.
I would stick to dvd. BD will never look good with the SD footage.
You could try this but its only for AE.

    Thanks Ann,

I didnt mention it in this clip but 90% of the footage is the 1080i footage with only about 25 seconds of a 19 minute video being the SD footage. I know its going to look rubbish, but in the end i though to go with the most used. Its for an amateur wedding video however ive learnt my leson and next time ill be using a canon to shoot in 1280×720 as well as the Sony (1080i) and a Canon 5D for the Full HD shots!!! (Stupid jvc)

Ill ahve a look at link, cheers
