  Premiere Pro won’t let me edit anymore!!

  I am going back to a project to make some requested changes and all of a sudden I am unable to make any edits to my project. I can open the project like normal, but once everything is loaded, as soon as I click on something, the beach ball loading icon comes up and never goes away.

  I’ve tried:

  working with files offline
  deleting the UserWorkspace file in the “layouts” folder
  deleting the entire Premiere Pro folder in my documents
  creating a new project and importing my current one into that
  uninstalling and reinstalling the entire program

  NOTHING works. I need to have this project done as soon as possible and this is not good! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I am working with Premiere Pro CS5 on an iMac running Mac OS X Version 10.6.5

  Did you recently update any drivers or the OS?
