when importing .MOV into premiere pro the audio is out of sync by four frames. I have a T2i (550D) DSLR and the raw footage plays fine both in camera and on external players like vlc and windows media player. When encoding out the audio is in sync again and so the issue is to do with the Adobe Player used to preview on the timeline. When I put the audio in sync on the timeline and then encode out to the desktop the audio is of course out of sync. For some reason Premiere is playing the audio out of sync on the time line, PLEASE HELP ITS DOING MY HEAD IN.

I am running CS5 and the DSLR preset. My machine sports a Gulftown 980x cpu and a GeForce GT430 gpu. 6gb Ram (OCZ Reaper). I think the achine is fast enough, what could be the problem?

OK how is this for ironic, I’ve been trawling the web for days now looking for the answer and eventually had to admit defeat and post hear for an answer. Then literally minutes later I’ve cracked it myself.

I changed the audio hardware ASIO setting from that of my soundcard to the premiere ASIO, I then bumped up the buffer as far as it would go and it solved the problem. The audio is now perfectly in sync and all issues resolved. whooop!!
