    Hy there,

when I export a composition from AfterEffects as an uncompressed AVI and I import that into PremierePro, it looks like it is somehow misinterpreted (see attached image). Now, in AfterEffects I got a clear control about color profiles. I just look at the interpretation. But in PremierePro I can’t see anything about color-profiles.

The AfterEffects composition is a linearized sRGB (based on 32-Bit OpenEXR files) and was exported to include the ColorProfile (sRGB) and a gamma of 2.2 was applied.

When I look at the file, say with VirtualDub or AfterEffects, it looks fine. Just PPro won’t show it right.

Any Ideas what I can do ?

    Thank you,
    André Irniger

    Edit: I use CS5 and work on a Windwos 7 64-Bit

    Have you tried Quicktime?

    Hy there,

yes, I know quicktime. But I would like to clear up the Color-Profile-Problem (if it is one), to be sure I know what is happening “under the hood”. I don’t like ignoring such an outcome, but rather understanding why it happened in the first place.

    Thank you anyway,
    André
