  Ram leak w/ system info

  In Premiere Pro’s settings I have allocated 1 GB of RAM to premiere, and the other 11 for my system. Yet when I open up a project file with my media (xdcam 422 at 24fps/ 23.98) and do NOTHING – my RAM usage climbs to 11.8 Gigs just having premiere open and then crashes out.

  My device manager tells me I have all the appropriate drivers.

  My system:

  ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
  8 cores, ( i7 920 @ 2.67GHz )
  200 GB FREE space on C drive
  1 TB FREE on 2nd internal drive.

  Allocate more RAM to Premiere… 1GB is not very much.
